Seed Starting 101

Service Description

This is my 3rd year growing over 100 varieties of garden plants from seed, and I would love to share what I've learned along the way. In this class you'll learn the basics of seed-starting: When containers should I use? When should you plant? Does soil type really matter? Do I really need grow lights? Learn the answers to these and other pertinent questions by hosting or attending a seed-starting class. This class will also include a workshop to plant your own seeds. You can purchase a seed-starting kit separately if you would like to participate, or you can bring your own supplies. A minimum of 3 kits at $30 each must be purchased to create a class - invite as many or as few people as you would like! Kits include a simple aluminum tray and humidity dome, seed-starting mix, 38 seed cells, and a wide variety of seeds to choose from to start 38 plants.
